Adjustment Techniques
A variety of adjustment styles are used in our office, ranging from the more traditional hands on adjustments to much gentler gravity based or instrument techniques.
The adjustments proposed as part of your care will be explained to you before commencement, and at no stage will you be asked to do or undergo anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. In fact, if you have seen a chiropractor or other therapist previously, it is always useful to have a discussion about what did and didn't work best for you.
Manual adjustment techniques are the most commonly used procedures in our office. A wide range of procedures exist for addressing specific restrictions of movement in the spine and extremities, and these can cater for a wide range of patients and their needs.
People often have questions about chiropractic when they come in, and there is sometimes a fear of the unknown when people consider commencing care. Those questions are welcome here, in fact they are part of the fabric of what we set out to do.
It is important for you to know that when you attend our clinic, we won't proceed with any treatment options until we are sure that you understand and are happy with the plan.
You will also be thoroughly informed about the risks of any procedures you are about to undergo, and given the opportunity to satisfy any further questions you may have.
